Bredonborough.
A grey & wet day in Bredonborough.
Let’s hope this doesn’t dampen attendance for the Italian Market in the Market Place. Closing down the workstation for a back-door call at 09.30.

A morning drive to Luton airport; the speediest security-clearance I have experienced there; even a relatively empty EasyJet to Nice. All in all, the least painful travelling-here of several adventures during the past 2 years.
Today’s first adventure was transiting between Terminal 2 > Nice St. Augustin Gare – an easy walk! Almost easy, that is, and more so if you know the way. In the ticketing lobby, a very sus-looking character was eyeing all the billet-acquirers. Clearly, catching a train was not the reason he was there. The Minx gave him a look; he left. In earlier centuries, my Wife would have been the starring attraction at a bonfire party.

English train-catchers are pleasantly astonished that rail travel can be straightforward; but not in England. The real estate from Nice to Menton, the Cote d’Azur, is some of the most expensive in the word. And it is beautiful.
Arriving at La Gare Menton around 19.30, to the hotel & then straight to one of our favourite restaurants. The Minx points in the direction of the reason for her visit…
Evening falls. Minx points again…
An after-dinner walk follows The Pointing Finger…
More on this, tomorrow.
